Thank you for visiting Highland Pro Clean. We are a second generation, family owned and operated business. Andrew’s father, Ken, started this company in 1978, providing quality residential home cleaning to the High Country. In 2011, he turned over the day to day business to his son, Andrew and his daughter-in-law, Jael.
After managing the company on his own for 7 years, in 2018, Andrew decided we needed to simplify. We wanted to provide more customer centered, personal service. It was time for some major changes. We minimized our crew and services, and moved the company. Our desire is to provide you with personal, quality cleaning services at an affordable price, like you had from the start.
Our current services include: window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing and siding cleaning. Starting July 2020, we no longer provide carpet, upholstery or rug cleaning. Our regular service area is: Newland, Elk Park, Linville, Crossnore, Pineola, Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Foscoe, Boone, Plumtree, Minneapolis, Roan Mtn., and surrounding areas.
We are fully insured, carrying both Workers Compensation and General Liability coverage.

Andrew Johansen, Owner/Operator
Born and raised in Newland, NC. Andrew started helping in Highland Pro Clean when he was only 10 years old. You could say he was born into this work. With over 33 years of experience and training in window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and applied microbial growth, Andrew is the man you can trust to get your job done right the first time!
Jael Johansen, Office Manager/Cleaning Technician
Jael hails from Green Lane, PA. She started working at Highland Pro Clean when she was 15 years old. (Her family had recently moved to NC to be close to family.) Andrew & Jael married in 2003, when they were both 21. They currently reside in Roan Mountain, TN with their son, Kade; daughter, Nova; a Jack Russell/Beagle, Charlie; a tabby cat, Rimy; and a tarantula named Arid. Starting 2019, Jael will be working with Andrew in helping with your cleaning needs, and also handling your questions and requests.
